Amanzi, which means water in Zulu, is a family owned, fully equipped cottage and ready for you to arrive and relax. Take a dip in the water, relax on the dock, sit with friends on the deck or stay inside and play some games.

A family oriented, modern, cottage on the shores of Lake Huron. The cottage is located on a quiet, private road.
Being family owned, we keep our cottage very clean, tidy, and fully operational during the summer and winter months. We come here to relax and enjoy our time, and we take great pride in providing all families with the same experience.
We invest in new improvements every year - so for those of you returning, you will notice some changes. For first time visitors, rest assured you will have a pleasant and comfortable stay.
Floors are tile and laminate, bedrooms are spaciously sized. The kitchen and bathrooms have been updated with modern fixtures, facilities etc. There are 4 bedrooms available on two levels. Each level has it's own living room area and bathroom with a shower - perfect for two families sharing. You can watch TV, relax and enjoy a book, or simply tale in the view of the lake. At night enjoy a fire under the stars while listening to the water.
We offer a large (partially covered) deck along the back of the cottage that overlooks the lake. There is also a large "lounge sun deck" partially over the water that allows you to take in the lake and interact with everyone enjoying the water. An upgraded fire pit area allows you to safety take in the glow of a warm fire under the stars at night while listening to the sounds of the lake.
Relax around the cottage; go swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding or simply walk the trails. We are a stones' throw from Singing Sands beach and a short drive into Tobermory. Take time out to visit the Grotto or Tobermory itself where you can enjoy a "village" atmosphere with local shops and many tourist attractions. Take the ferry to Manitoulin Island, the glass bottom boat tour, or take a leisurely stroll around Flower Pot island.
The essentials that you will need consist of food, bedding, towels and consumables. The cottage is fully equipped otherwise - just sit back and relax.
